Motors
Somfy is our motor company of choice. Using a Somfy motor allows you total ease of operating your awning. Somfy’s electric motors are fully contained within the roller tube of your awning, for a clean concealed installation. A regular motor allows the awning to move in and out for proper sun protection. An override motor will provide you with movement of the awning even if a power loss occurs. The wall switch must then be placed in the neutral/middle position and the crank can be used to move the awning in and out. Somfy’s advanced and patented radio technology (RTS) empowers you to simply operate your motorized awning by pressing a button on a remote control transmitter or wireless wall switch. By definition, RTS means no wiring between the motorized awning and the control, so installation is quick and easy.

Included with all non-motorized and motorized awnings as a backup for use if there is a power failure.

Available as an insurance upgrade to protect
your awning from getting damaged in the wind if left unattended.
Aluminum Hood
Perfecta uses a one piece, 7” wide, powder-coated aluminum hood. It is the same color as the rest of the unit’s metallic features. It has a slide in rubber shield on the back and an integrated drain rail and drain spout to help shed water.
A stylish hood (optional) protects your awning fabric from soiling when it’s retracted. If the awning can be installed under an outcropping that is at least 12” wide, a hood is not necessary.
Perfecta’s complete closure feature along with the use of a hood helps prevent water from getting behind your awning and allows excess water to drain away properly. A Perfecta hood can keep your awning fabric cleaner than any other unit found in today’s market.
There are 10 Valance Designs to choose from, along with several colors to choose from for the binding or braid around the valance.
